Some problems only become visible when the workaround stops working.
Something can look like it works simply because someone has become very good at compensating for what doesn’t.
OBSERVATION #003
Every organization has a few processes that work only because one person quietly holds them together.
Nobody planned it that way. It happened once, it worked, and then it kept working — so it stopped being a question.
A workaround is a decision that nobody remembers making.
The problem was there the whole time. What changed is that the person carrying it finally put it down.
